We now support cheaper payments

To make Fapow more affordable for those who just want to try us out, we’ve added some cheaper payment options. Now you can pay $5 or $10 to get your ads running. All you have to do is create your account on Fapow.com, log in and go to your funds page.

Fapow now also supports Bebo!

That’s right folks! We just opened up support for advertising and monetizing Bebo applications! So, to date, that brings the number of social networks we support to 3; MySpace, Facebook and now Bebo.

Developers and Advertisers, Fapow now supports MySpace!

We officially pushed a new release to Fapow tonight. With this new release comes the ability for advertisers and publishers to both advertise and publish ad units on the MySpace platform. There were some other minor changes we made so if you see something new, it probably is. Dig in, feel around and feel free to send any feedback my way at curtis@fapow.com.

Facebook warns ad networks

And Fapow is going to heed that warning. I got word through the grapevine (since Fapow isn’t big enough to have been contacted directly…yet) that Facebook warned all ad networks that they do not want to see any Facebook button style adds on any app on Facebook.

This means we’ll be doing away with the Facebook-style buttons in the ads as soon as possible (i’ll probably roll those changes out tonight). We’ll have to go with a format a little more conventional. I think we’ll also add in a little “ads by Fapow” too, just so consumers can know what ads are served by us.

Allow me to introduce myself

My name is Curtis and I built the social network advertising platform Fapow. I decided I wanted to jump into this space since I didn’t see anyone fully utilizing the full potential of the various social network platforms that were available. I figured that since you only live once and I had some free time, I’d have a go at it and see where it takes me.

Right now, Fapow is mostly Facebook specific but I will be posting here as we add new networks into the fold so keep an eye out.
